Isn't the biggest resevoir in the master cylinder (the primary) for the front disc brakes? And the smaller (secondary) for the rear drums? Just want to be sure before I plumb this thing wrong. Thanks!SteveW

I believe so, but the biggest bowl should be closest to the firewall. That's what the pushrod hits first.Erik ------------------ 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Mine - Restomod in Progress 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Dad's - Original Unrestored

The biggest bowl is closest to the firewall, but the instructions say the front outlet is "usually" for the front brakes. So now I'm not so sure. There are no brake lines now and I'd kinda like to get it right on the first attempt. It's the Dart if anyone cares. Maybe GM's are backwards and that's where the "usually in the front" comment in the directions come from.Do the front disc brakes need more fluid than the rear drums? SteveW

And thanks for your help KV, Butch, and Eric. This project has been like a puzzle. You know when you didn't take it apart but someone gave it to you in a basket. LOL I remember a hourly rate sign at a shop when I was a kid. It said, $20 and hour, if you watch $30/hour, if you help $40/hr. and if you took it a part first $60/hour. The minimum wage back then was $1.60/hr. SteveW
