I have a forged crank that is a scat 3.85 stroke and no parting line anywhere.? What gives.Am I stupid or am i just no getting something? My 69 351w crank is cast in my old one and the line is thin about 1/16 like it should be for cast and forged have a 1/4 inch parting line usually right?Please help as im lost the number on the crank reads 23894.7 if that helps any..Bruce thanks in advance

A billet crank has no forging lines. Sounds like you have a billet insted of forged crank on your hands.

thats what i thought man did i get a killer deal..Its a 393 kit w/forged 4340 rods floating pins JE pistons custom 10.5 w/60 cc heads sfi flex plate 157th and sfi balance clevitte 77 h bearings and balance job 2,285..I am so happy happy happy..Bruce
