when im driving sometimes it feels like my car has drag on it like im barely tapping the break when im giving it just enough gas to keep the same speed. sometimes it clunks sometimes it doesnt like a bad u joint but not all the time. it seems to get a little worse when ive been driving for a while any thaughts ???

If its a standard transmission,the drag is normal but it shouldn't clunk. You might want to check your front wheel bearings if you feel alot of drag. As for U-joints,they are a cheap and fairly easy fix. If you've never changed them it wouldn't hurt to do it. After you remove them its always neat to check the outside of the caps for hot(blue)spots and then check the needle bearings on the inside to see how far gone they are.

also check your fluid levels on both tranny and rear and look for an ebrake cable that may be bound..if it was parked for a while check your wheel cylinders ..P.S. WELCOME TO MUSTANGSANDMORE. Bruce
