Last Friday night at Southeastern Dragway in Dallas Ga.Pass #1, rolled out, no time Pass #2, 2.295 60ft, 9.098 @ 83.14 Pass #3, 2.160, 8.71 @ 83.79 Pass #4, 2.147, 8.674 @ 83.91 Pass #5, 2.123, 9.576 @ 56.89 missed shift to third, (must put in gear before releasing clutch, DUH) Pass #6, 2.020, 8.601 @ 82.40 These passes were with very hard street tires, my cousin was joking with me and said he saw sparks coming off the tires. No traction at all, was spinning through 1st and second gear, the last pass was getting sideways in second. Next time I'll borrow my cousins slicks and see what happens.
By the way, the cost for the night was $10 admission including as many passes as you care to make, much cheaper than a ticket on the street. ------------------ Stuart MCA #48902 M&M #1091 67 stang 5 speed, 351W, Edelbrock Performer RPM package my photo page

Going back next week, borrowed slicks and 750 dp holley will pick it up, removing the sway bar too. Uh oh, I think I've caught that bug again.....it's been years since the thrill of competition had a hold on me, I quit racing motocross in 1995 (too old and don't heal up as quick).
