Do you measure the flexplate by measuring from the middle of the bolt hole across to the middle of the opposing bolt hole?please let me know thanks.

You could do it that way but most of the time the flex plate is specified by the number of teeth on the ring gear. 157 being small, 164 being for most applications.

The converter bolt holes on the 157 tooth flexplate will be on a 10 1/2" bolt circle. This is for a small bell C-4.The converter bolt holes on a 164 tooth flexplate will be on a 11 7/16" bolt circle.
