Ok, sorry for all the questions but now I want to know which solid cam I should use on my 289? I don't want anything to nuts and nothing to whimpy.

the comp cams fl268s-6 has a power range of 2500-6500.You could have them grind it on 110 l/s instead of 106 to give you better idle quality.
