Anyone try adding small amounts just to "see" how it would pick up your race car's ET? A friend of mine has been tinkering with it as I have been observing his efforts. Recently, I ordered a Fuel injection book from ENderle and the book says a Maximum of 15% can be added to your fuel and still run a standard methanol barrel valve like I run. I know my buddy dropped .15 off his 1/8th mile Et by running 20% BUT he also hung a rod out the side of it 5 passes later. I told him it wasn't a big lose since it was a chebbie. He didn't find the humor in it. (shrugs) ------------------ Jerry 69 Mustang Pro ET Drag 70 Mustang retired former footbrake car If I tell you a Hog can pick cotton, Get him a Sack!

I did a couple of years back. I added 5% to mine, but mistakenly took timing out of the motor. Also, I didn't richen it up enough for 1/4 mile racing which I was doing then and I felt it lay over right before the finish line. And when I took the timing out, I took a bunch out of it, 8* worth, and it still ran the same ET with that much less timing with the nitro as it did with the extra timing and on straight alchy. If I would have left the timing alone, I know it would have went faster.
