This should give you a good idea of what the Ford 100th was like:

A lot of the pages have links at the bottom to additional photos.

I gotta point out that in some of the pictures (Aussie ones mainly) it appears that there aren't many cars... not so. The place is huge and the cars quite spread out. Depending which day and time of day the parking lots changed a bunch. Friday was very crowded with long waits for the shuttles and food concessions.

Steve

The pictures are GREAT I went thru all of them, whew! You really got around, as the wet scenes are from Thursday and you weren't there early in the morning like i was yet managed to see all that?

I never saw the 3 GT's in front of the building. I didn't get to the museum or Rouge plant. I did spy over the Proving Grounds fence and try and bluff my way into the Experimental Garage.

nice pix's, i remember the glidden fairmont at englishtown back in the 80's, i had a handshake with him when they were working on the car in the pits, i said good luck he said we need it, he won hands down with that car, also i remember that boss429 from tasca, that car was unreal back then too, many memories of the ford race cars of the past, anybody remember barrie poole with the 681\2 cobra jet winning superstock in 68, it was on channel 7 i think wide world of sports, think cobra jets were in the final round if i remember, those zebra strips on the car, good pictures thanks.

Steve LaR,
You & your wif sure did get some VERY nice pics! THANKS A BUNCH FOR SHARING THEM WITH US ALL!!

It looks like it was a GREAT time indeed! It looks like that was one of those events where your face hurts the next day from all the smiling you did the day before!!

I didn't get thru every pic, however, I suspect I'll go back later to check out the rest of your collection. Of those that I did, my favorites: The TASCA B9, Smokey's '9, and the ol' cab-over car hauler (with the #98 Cougar on it)!

Thanks again!
Ryan
