have you seen this before?

Can someone tell me the Eleanor story... I don't know anything about it.

Buster,

Eleanor was the name of the custom '68 in the modern version of the movie, "Gone in Sixty Seconds". The car thieves gave all the cars that they intended to steal names, and the Mustang was named Eleanor. They stole a bunch of exotic cars at the same time and loaded them on a ship that was leaving the country. You'll have to watch the movie.

Yeah it was supposed to be a 67 GT500 but it didnt look much like a GT500, go figure

I think the hood looks like crap with that big lump on it....almost like a pregnant guppy only turned upside down.

Also, wasn't the 71-73 Mustang in the original movie named Eleanor also?....

Yes on both counts.

I have pics of the Eleanors that were at Ford this weekend, complete with rust in the trunk. {I guess $85-150k doesn't get you what you think it does.}
