OK, I think I know the answer to this question and I have e-mailed Comp Cams with this issue as well.I was looking at camshafts online at all the different cam companies. I was doing some comparisons between them when I noticed this...
click here for the camshaft as listed online
Now, the cam card that I have is not the same as far as the exhaust numbers go.
The lift shown on my cam card is .4350" not .427 as advertised and the duration is 278 not 286 as advertised.
However, the cam timing is the same between my cam card and the one advertised. How can the cam timing be the same and what is the real cam timing, lift and duration?
Therefore, this is NOT the camshaft I ordered if the card doesn't match as advertised IMHO. and I still don't know what I have ATM. I'm going to mesure the lift as soon as I get done posting this thread.
However, I have had this cam now for a few months and not sure how this will affect this issue.
