I am planning on building that same engine later on down the road. So here is the question:

Im pretty sure that they used pedistal type roller rockers (1.7 ratio). Now I was told to use a stud mounted type roller rockers still 1.7, that they would be stronger.

Is there a big differnce between the two, or will it work just as good???

The stud mount rocker is indeed a much stronger unit.

The good thing is that AFR sell both kinds of heads... You can even get 58cc chambers if you want. With aluminum heads I would imagine the 58cc chambers would be the way to go. You want an increase in compression campared to cast iron to offset the heat transfer difference.

I went to the AFR website and the propaganda is very impressive. Also have seen many flow comparisons and AFR do have excellent results for "out of the box" heads. Im saving up.
