I know someone that has a new 950 HP still in the box that he wants to sells cheap.
I was just wondering if this would be to much Carb for my combination. I have heard nothing but good things about these carbs. I was wondering how much ET I might pick up with the switch I hear people talking about 2 & 3 tenths.

It looks like you have a nice set-up but I think that the 950HP might be a little too big for those cylinder heads, but I might be wrong. I?m not sure that you would see any major benefit with a carb that size for that combination. I?d get Alex and others to chime in on this recommendation. But personally, I don?t think I?d run it. Of course the only real way to tell is at the track (if speed is your main goal).

Id agree that carb is usually used on well prepped bigblocks. Its rated at 950 but actually flows much more . i think you would be much better off with a 750hp i.m.o.

I think it's too much for that motor. I have heard it doesn't actually flow 950, more like 900. But regardless, my buddy tried mine on his 408W that has canfield heads and a healthy roller cam. It ran the same ET as his 750 HP did, but with one and a half more mph. If it didn't help that motor, it wont benefit yours. IMHO
