66 rear end width- not same old question

I am hoping someone can help me out. I need to know the width- from outside of the drum to outside of the drum of a 66 nine inch. not just to the axle flange. I am having an explorer rear cut down and the guy needs to know the overall width because the drum mounting area is not the same thickness as the disk mounting area-
