When I pull the 351W out of the car for an overhaul/mild performance build up, would it be worth it to use some link-type roller lifters? I have not heard anything negative except the extra cost. If this is worthwhile what roller compcam would be similiar to the 270H, as the 270H is the flat tappet cam that I am most interested in? Or can I even go more agressive than this due to the versitiliy of the roller lifters?

Not worth the expense unless you build a super duper motor.

That is what I was thinking too. They are really much more expensive, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on a great opportunity to do this kind of procedure. But since I don't think I'll see the gains necessary to justify funding this I think I'll stick with the flat tappets- unless someone else has a different opinion.

The extreme energy cams are pretty agressive and would be my choice over spending 6-700 dollars on conversion parts. The xe268h is 268/280-- 224/230 @ .050---.510/.512 lift,The xe274h is 274/286 --230/236 @.050--.519/.523 lift.I like these because they have more exhaust duration.
