I just picked up a 750 DP and was wondering if it would be too much carb for my motor?? 302, RPM Heads, air gap intake, 10:1 comp., nothing special. Any ideas if it would or not? If not can anyone give me a guess on jetting and squiter size to start trial and error with? thanks alot.

I'm running a 750 DP on my 333 stroker, and it loves it . I had a 3310 (780cfm vac secondary 4150) on it, and the improvment across the entire powerband is awesome. My deal sounds similar to yours, except for a few more cubes. Mine likes the jetting at 70/80, squirters are 32/35, 6.5 pv in the front block without one in the back. Pump lash is .025.

If you've got an auto trans, you'll likely need a loose converter and some short gears. I personally like three pedals

It'll work but it runs very rich by the time you get it jetted to feel right. Been there done that. 650 is mo better.

I think I was running 72 in front and 75 in the rear with #31 squirters and 6.5 PV. I also remember having to put .020" wire restrictors in the PV metering circuits to keep it from going rich under hard acceleration but I was using ported stock heads. The 750 PV circuit may work ok with RPM heads.
