Whats's your opinion on keith black hyper pistons?
Or do you prefer forged?
these will be going on 450 hp 351w

street or just track ? Are you running power adders like blower, N.O.S., ect..If just street and no power adders I would say K.B.s would be great but I run forged and do not have an oil consumption problem.It does however like to warm up first if you know what i mean! Bruce w

I prefer forged because of the larger margin of safety. They won't come apart if you run into a little detonation while hypereutechtic will shatter like a porcelean pig. I had a set of forged pistons survive a dropped valve twice and still be useable, which makes it hard for me to use anything else. The down side is forged pistons are heavier, and you have to run more side clearannce because forged pistons expand more due to their greater density. The tighter side clearance available with hypereutechtics is sure tempting, though.
