I know a locker is supposed to make more noise during turns but is it normal for it to make a harder clunk when going into gear and shifting with a C6 compared to a tracloc? The clunk is really noticable going into reverse. I did the tests given on the Tactec site and the DL seems ok. I got it used. Thanks for any info.

I dont know if its the same but in mine with manual tranny after backing out of driveway and shifting into 1st when I let the clutch out sometimes it makes a clunk so bad I look behind to see what fell off.Nothing ever has and it runs perfectly after.Ive heard the spring gets wrapped up and this is just it releasing.Been in car for 3yrs and still leaves hard and with equal tire marks.

Thanks Radride. I suppose these lockers are just plain noisy. I bet the noise makes nearby people jump.
