I picked up a Holley Street Dominator (sorry, I thought it was an Edelbrock) that was thrown in with a "deal" I made. I've never had any experience with one. To look inside the plenum, it appears to be a complete disaster. It's a single plane, split plemum design with a rear balance tube, set up for both square and spreadbore carbs. Is this thing even worth the trouble to install? What level of power and or RPM range would work best at?------------------ Mark Walton '83 Mustang NHRA Stocker (under construction - track debut 2003) '69 "off brand" NHRA SS/EA

I had one on my 69 Corvette (foreign car) for a while and really didnt do very well. Replaced it with a more modern performer intake and noticed a real seat of the pants improvement. Not worth messing with in my opinion as there is much better stuff out there.------------------ Scott Akom 65 Coupe (Modified) 68 Coupe (Son's) 2000 GT Conv. (Wifes) 1987 GT Conv. Sorry about that Wicked, topic should have read "Holley Street Dominator" instead of "Edelbrock Streetmaster". By the way, mine does not look like the one currently in production, such as this: http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/AMS/AMSM/f300-39S.htmlA '69 Corvette is one foreign car I could definitely own, if the price were right. For some reason, that always seems to be the problem. Mark [This message has been edited by TurboGT (edited 05-16-2003).]
