I posted the following in the 79 to 93 Forum...wanted to see what responses I got here! Future mods are planned...want to get it up and running first.

I just picked up an 89 5.0 HO injection setup. I need the main wire harness (I have the harness on the intake) and a computer. Which computer works the best? It's going into my 1967 F100 with a 5-speed. It's currently running a carbed roller cam 5.0. I've read that the AOD computer is better and other sites say the T-5 one is better. Which one is better? Thanks.

My understanding has always been that the A9L computer was the hot ticket. It's for 5.0 manual trans.

I read last night that the 89 automatic had the most agressive timing curve. Alex any inputs?
