Hemi's never dominated A stock. They dominate Superstock A. Big block chebbies used to own A stock and A/SA.

Yeah the hemis do dominate SS/A and A... but the A/stock class has been dominated by the chebbies..but not now..lol.. Way to go the the A/S Fairlane of Robert Pond.. Actually, Jim Waldo`s 427 Fairlane was a killer A/S car years ago. Also, I have seen 426 Max Wedges, HEMI Cuda`s, 427 Camaro`s as well as the 427 Fairlane, all run very low 10`s in A/S & A/SA.It`s far from a "one car" domination situation, altitude factored records or not.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA Stocker under construction, 302 5 speed 59 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 dr sedan 332, auto 74 F350 ramp truck 390 4spd

Stephen & Horace I grew up watching the Vancleave family race at Puyallup race way park. Thay had a 61,62,and a 63. All big block fords, pluse two 67 fairlanes, a hard top & a 2d sedan. Which fairlane do you have?------------------ 64 Fairlane 351w thunder-nut. 68 Torino formal roof 351w. 68 cougar GTE. 70 cougar 351w aod trany.73 F-100 4x4 428 tri-power.
