I am going to fire up my 302 that I built for the first time this weekend.I got a comp cams 280H cam in it with a Carter AFB,Headers,Edelbrock gear drive. Also it is a 302 Mexican block. What should I set my timing at with no. 1 at top dead center to get the engine to fire up immediately.I had an article years ago that told how to fire your engine for the first time and I used it and it worked great ,the motor just started to turn over and it fired up perfect ,no backfires etc. Thanks Harley
