I pulled an Autolite 4100 that originally came in a 65 Galaxie 500 w/352 if the info is correct. Currently is has been rebuilt, pulled the primary shaft and butterflies from my 2100 to replace the originals, aside from that it is absolutely stock, right down to the jet size.I've verfied in the past it is a 600 CFM carb, aside from that I know little about it. Any tips for performance? I've read a little in the archives about manual linkage for the secondaries and something replaced in the primaries for better fuel delivery... ------------------ 74 Mercury Comet 302, leaking Performer 289 intake, Autolite 4100, Hooker Super Comps AOD 3:1 My website

Block the power valve with a Holley plug and increase the front jets about 20% for starters.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Don't block the power valve if it's a daily driver. INstall a Holley 5.5 or 4.5.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 First SS/MA in the TENS! The number is stamped on the side of Holley power valves. The powervalve keeps the engine lean in part throttle and at idle.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 First SS/MA in the TENS!
