how can you tell an r code c6 from any other ? the ones I have looked at have a number on the drivers side rear that begins with r , they have a front servo with a D on it. any general c6 id info is appreciated. q#2 I have a 1.19 4100 but it came off a 58 ford interceptor car don't know how it got there but its a different breed of cat, they are supposed to be unique to mercs.Maybe somebody swapped it on ?,anyway what is it worth ? I am not selling it so please give an honest appraisal , I appreciate it .Oh yeah the car had a 352 330? horse engine ,solid lifter block, adjustable valves.

The 1.19 was common to the 1958 352 FORD as well as the 1958 383 MERC. HOLD ONTO IT!

As for the 352, when first introduced in 1958, they had mechanical valve trains, changed later to hydraulic. The only other mechanical 352 was the 1960 352/360HP.

I am not sure what you are asking about the C6. What type of car is all of this in?

I am looking for information concerning factory performance/speed parts used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) from 1958 thru 1968.
