Topic: GT 40 head casting numbers

Anyone know what the casting numbers are for the Ford Motorsport "GT-40" iron heads? A friend bought a set and the seller said they were GT-40's. any help would be appreciated. He has a habit of getting hosed on parts, so I want to make sure he's ok on this.

If memory serves me correctly, they casting number was a F1ZE. Yes they did come out in 1993 on a cobra but I recall a set we had having that casting number, They were brand new in the box when we had em.------------------

Yup, he got hosed. They have a E5AE-CA casting #. Time to break the bad news....

Not sure if it matters, but ours have GT raised cast letters by the left and right lower headbolts. Just letting you know what ours say. Steve.
