I`m getting A set of Victor Jr. heads for my 308, and now I need to know what plugs to use. It is a flat top engine with an X-303
Motorsport cam .542/.542, 224/224 @.050
I`m going to use a thin head gasket from Cometic (not sure how thin yet) and I might have the heads milled a little to try and bump up the compression a little. I dont want to over do it though because I`ll be putting these heads on a 393w next year. More about my current set up is on my website .

Victor Jr's call for a Chammpion RC12YC, or the RC9YC which is three steps colder. I have not been able to find anything in between those two heat ranges. I am currently using an Autolite racing plug which was extremely hard for me to track down but it has a shortened ground strap for use with nitrous so you may not want that type. I never had a problem with the champions though.
