Have you guys extended the slapper bars to hit on the eye of the spring??
I've heard of springs getting bent if the snubber hits behind the eye and thought I might weld an extension on them before I install them.
Also, how tight against the spring do I adjust the J-bolts?

I extended my old CEs about 2 inches so they sit center of the spring eye. I don't like the J bolts. Something about putting tension on the suspension doesn't sound right to me. I use metal wedge shims in between the springs and the mount to get the snubber closer to the spring. The stiffer the springs are, the better they work and slow extending drag shocks help too. ------------------
