Never seen a link but here is what I know and my hp guesses...
BTW many of the old motors could make much more power now with modern valvetrain components.

fifties - 292 and 312 Y block - 300hp?

late '50s - FEs - 353 and 390? - 375hp?

sixties - FEs 406 and 427 - 550hp?

'69 early '70s - Boss 429 - 650 hp?

After the big block ban
mid '70s to early '80s - 351C 4V 600 to 625hp

early to late eighties 351C aussie block and SVO "highport" heads (A3, c302, b302)- 700hp?

Late '80s Svo block and Highport heads - 750hp range?

nineties to present various SVO blocks and Yates heads - current is the 820 hp range
