I have been happy with the Jet Hot coated headers that I have had for the last 4 years. If I ever get another set of headers, it will probably be through Jet Hot again. Tom

I have always used Jet-Hot. Never had a problem so I've really never looked at anyone else. I have to admit that I haven't heard anyone complain about coated headers from anyone really....chris

Mine were Jet Hot coated around 6 ot 7 years ago. They were used, 3 yrs worth of used. They are now starting to rust thru again. However, if they would have been new when coated, I have no doubt they would have lasted alot longer. As it is, they still lasted probably 5 yrs longer by being coated even though they were used, than they would have lasted had I not coated them. But, from now on, I'm definately going to ge them coated before I use them.

I used to use a company called Baxter Engineering, they had a patent and were the only ones in America that used stainless in their coatings. Too bad they went out of buisness. Now in my search to find someone else I found a company called Landshark Coatings. I sent some bumper brackets off to see what kind of job he(Vic) did and they came back very nice. Here is a link to another board I frequent that has pics of the brackets. He told me it would be about $175 to coat a set of long tube sbf headers, very resonable I think. The # is also in the thread. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2476

My friend had his new headers done by Jet Hot and they are getting some discoloration after only a few hours running time. We're actually pretty surprised. I've heard nothing but good about them before this.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com

I had HPC coat my headers and they look great. I had another pair done for my Fiero a few years back and they look like day one! Here's a tip for everyone: If you spill oil or have oil stains on your headers use a product called TarnX it is used to clean tarnish off of silver. I used every cleaner known to man trying to get the oil stains off my headers caused by hot lash setting my hydraulic lifters. The last bottle of cleaner to try was the TarnX I realy didn't think it would work. With nothing to loose I gave it a shot. I am glad I did! Just put some on a rag wipe in on the "cold" headers let it sit for a few seconds and wipe off! Easy! didn't hurt the coating at all.

Jet Hot! None better, no brag just fact! MM's and Tony's Capri headers are there right now for replating. They are doing it under warrantee. No discoloration issues, just a weird flaking problem that seems to persist down tube near the collectors. You pay the shipping and they fix them good as new! Well worth it to me. Others we have tried usually have similar or typical problems with the finish, and they complicate matters by NOT standing by their warrantee claims. Or they come up with some sort of disclaimers or "fine print" like not for competition use. Jet Hot is #1 in my book for sure.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." I just got the info packet from Jet-Hot. Very impressive. They even included a video for me to watch if I can wrestle the tv from my wife. They want $215 plus shipping.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com

Got our headers back yesterday. Look as good if not better than new and the only cost was the shipping. Can't beat them for quality, look, and service.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
