Tony and I beat on the convert all day. Cam and lifter swap took more time than anticipated, but the results should be worth it. We finally put a .445 lift cam with some duration in the puppy along with a set of Sherman hydraulic roller lifters. We had one of Tony's "old" .432 lift 228 232 pee pee cams in it. I didn't expect the lash to change as dramatically as it did. Sooooo, all is done except for another 2-3 hours of selective shimming to get the corect amount of pre load in the lifters. We'll have it running by noon or so. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Alex, what is the scoop on the Sherman modified lifters? I know they have "Limited" plunger travel, but are they adjusted with zero lash like a "Normal" hyd roller? Can they be run on the street with no ill effects?

.005 to .008 plunger depth works best. Yes, they can be used on the street with no problems. They will pick up any hydraulic roller cam considerably.
