What is dif between the 2?

I am going to replace the 5.0 in my Bronco with a 5.8, and would like to use the best head for towing.

The Explorer head is commonly known as the GT-40 P head. It flows considerably better out of the box then the E7 head. Exhaust headers/spark plug clearance can be an issue.
