I think i remember alex saying that aluminum heads leak if you live in cold climates (down to -31 F this year) and i won't be driving my car when it's that cold, but it may see temps as low as 0.

So those of you with head knowledge please enlighten me.

As well is it a myth that iron heads make more power all things being equal??

I like aluminum heads.

If you're trying to use them on a daily driver that may see 70,000 miles of use between teardowns, then iron heads get the nod. Also, don't let an aluminum headed engine overheat, and if it does let it cool naturally w/o adding water.
