I haven't worked on the Roush heads but I have used a couple thousand cartridge rolls reshaping ports. In general you want to use the rolls to blend surfaces together and smooth out the walls. If you are trying to remove specific metal without enlageing everything in the area, use a carbide burr. I recommend an olive shaped carbide because you can control exactly where it is cutting. after you have the metal shaped like you want, use the cartridge rolls to smooth out the area.

olive??
Is that the same shape as an oval?
Not being a smart@ss either. Just wanting to find out if that was a typo, or an actuall shape I haven't used.

I use primarily an oval, and a tree shaped carbide for all my work.

Now that you mention it, I never looked at it that way before.

I would try to return the heads for a good set first.
If the bowl is not centered under the valve seat, you might have a hard time ever fixing it.
