 That would really be cool.....
I wonder if it would ever works as well as a performer RPM with a good holley though....

Just a model I bet. Surely they are not producing a production plastic intake...Hey remember the guys who made plastic composite connecting rods in the early 80s?
Poly motor I think they were called.

That will add a whole new level of excitement to a carb fire! Melt the intake too. IP: Logged |

 | posted 03-23-2003 04:41 PM The Chevy carbs probably won't fit a Ford since they have center inlet bowls and are longer.
A 351W "tri power" (if we gotta use GM marketing names) is a bit odd ... the 3-2V setups are a 50's and early 60's idea that was abandoned before the 351W ever came out. It's like making a 6 Stromberg intake for 4.6 DOHC. I would think a 351W version of the old dual Holley 4V's 289 intake would be a better idea. IP: Logged |

The prototype FoMoCo 351C tri-power set up that was to go on the Boss 351 Mustang was designed for cathedral bowl Holley carbs as found on Corvettes and Six Pack Mopars. The BG set up is for cathedral bowls.

 | posted 03-24-2003 12:37 PM Cleveland tripower -- now there's a sweet idea. Of course, I think a strip dominator, 750HP, and a shaker will suit me just fine... whenever I can afford it.
