Are the Hooker Super Comp Headers the best header for my high horse 331?

I can get them for $519 @ Summit. That is jet coated by the way.

EXHAUST -

I need a size for the exhaust. I am probably going with an X pipe. Is 2 1/2 inch the size I need?

Yup, and Yup it's what I've got. I used 3" to the X pipe. The X pipe is 3" then necked down just after to 2.5" I figured this would allow the best exhaust scavageing.
