Guys I am going to get new front springs for my 65 Mustang. It has stiff, short springs now.
The car is minimal up-front. Battery in trunk, no power equipment at all, fiberglass hood and valance.
I am looking at a Jeg's catalog and they show QA1 springs in 7",10",12" and 14" lengths.
Which length and which rate do I need?
I have Gabriel Strider adjustable shocks now. They are old but don't leak. Can I just use them or just go ahead and get the CE drag shocks?
I am leaving the rear alone until I see how it does.
Also the rear-end is at stock height.
My front upper A-arms are 1" lower than stock.
Any help is appreciated.

Slow Joe

Joe,

We run the original 40 year old v-8 springs on ours. I think Alex runs them in MM'r too. Sorry I can't help you with the QA1 springs, I'm sure Alex will know though.

The QA-1 springs are for their specific coil over shocks.
What you want (or what Steve, Todd, and I use) are Moog # 8088.
