They fit and cleared the trans with almost no problems. The only tight area was the bracket for the cable on my Qtr stick shifter. The bracket bolts to trans and is very close to the left side header collector. Had to clearance it with a grinder just a touch. A stock shifter rod would work fine. Can't say if these headers would fit a Gran Torino or not. But they do clear the trans. Later, David Cole IP: Logged
