Can the hardblock be removed from the block? Thinking about getting a block that has been filled but would like to use it for the street. Thanks

I've never heard of anyone removing 'Hardblock' from a block... I doubt it can be done. As long as the fill isn't blocking the water pump holes, I'd be inclined to simply use it as it is in your street project - I've heard of lots of guys using filled blocks in their street mills without incident.... Just my 2 cents,,, Ryan

It's permanent. As long as the block is not 100% filled, there won't be any adverse effects using it in a street car.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
