I have one in a '66 Mustang. Swap headers are required. I have the type that cross under the oil pan but I believe FPA makes a more conventional style now. I wrote up some notes on the swap a while back: https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/DanJonesEngineSwap.htmlDan Jones

i think the to put a cleveland in you have to modify the shock towers to get the headers to fit in a 64.5-66.if you can find a windsor, that will fit w/o mods with longtube headers

Tubular Automotive also makes 351C headers for a 65-66 Mustang. Brandon you ever seen a 64 Mustang? Refer to them as a 64 once more time and you go to "time out" for a day! ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." I've done it and I love it. Not to say it was easy, but nothing that can't be overcome with a little hard work. Shock tower modification is optional. More details to come if you decide to do it.Boss66 ------------------ 1966 Coupe 72 HO 351c 4v open 282S cam, Strip Dom int MSD 6al Tubular Auto Swap Headers toploader 4sp 9" 3.70 rear

I've got a set of x-over headers in excellent shape for the 65-66 mustang I'll sell! I'm not sure if they're for a boss 302 or 351C though. ------------------ '68 mustang 351 clevor- 10.92@124 '67 Stang, 351W -11.18@118 '69 351C Torino-14.90@100 '78 Pickup 351W-15.56@88 '79 Pickup 460 ET=??

So if u get those swap headers, does that mean u do not have too modify the shock towers?

I did not modify the shock towers. I did heat a few spots and knock them back a little, but it was not required. Depends on how much space you want to work with.
