Open headers are the way to go for a drag car, unless of course you're running a class that requires mufflers.

I run Borla sportsmans on my car. I don't have to, but I like the way they sound. Plus, bracket racers tend to fear what they can't hear. If you have open hedders, and are use to hearing the other car coming, and you race someone with mufflers that you can't hear closing on you, it messes up your finish line judgement. Plus, I like being able to hear my motor, and not just the open hedders. Several times I have heard a loose rocker before it slowed the car down. My muff's arent that loud, especially when compard to open hedders. I like 'em. I doubt if I ever run without them again. They don't slow my car down other than the fact they weigh 12 lbs each.

Stahl headers 2 1/8th inch primary; 4 inch collectors. I have them pointed at the competition out the side. Helps blow their doors off ( I hope ) when you go by. find out soon maybe. ------------------ Jerry 69 Mustang Pro ET Drag 70 Mustang retired former footbrake car "This is FORD Country!
