I'm looking for a good street head and have come across a set of early 351 W heads that have been overhauled with all new parts (valves, springs, etc.), magnafluxed, resurfaced, bronze guides and 3 angle valve job, machined for adjustable rockers, delivered to my door for $653.95. Valves are 1.84/1.56. I'm wanting to put these on my 302. For a street engine, would anyone buy these or would you recommend spending $300 more for Windsor Jr.s? That same $300 would pay for my cam kit and headers.

I would go with iron Windsor jrs. They flow much better. I have seen them go for as low as $400-$600 on Ebay complete. Jason

I too would go with the Jr's. Thay are a great head for the price. If you do get them, make shure you're blow them out with air. World likes to leave shavings in the water jackets and put way too much grease on the valve stems. I like to order them bare and assemble them myself.

I've seen them start that low but never finish under $700+. There are two auctions for Jr.'s on ebay now. They both have a week left. I'll post the final numbers when they end.
