That's like $375 US, right? If so, I would have found a used one & rebuilt it.

Man...I'm definitely switching to a Holley...
I'm just not ready to shell out $400 US for a #4779...
I haven't had much luck yet on finding a used one...
Hint...hint...
I would throw the factory #1850 600 back on it, but, I noticed a power increase when I changed to the 750cfm Brand X carb...
I also believe a Holley has a better metering system and is more tuneable than Brand X...
Quality = $$$

You can find used ones on Ebay all day long. Most never go over $100. Through in a $20 kit and you've got yourself a nice carb for less that 1/3 the cost of a new one.

Yes, Alex, Edelbrock DOES make carbs. They look just like the carbs all those MoPar guys took off their 340,383, & 440 engines when they wanted to go faster!!

Anybody know if a used (new looking) 750dp is worth $200...?
How about a remanufactured 650dp for $225 outright...?
I've got my eye on a few, but haven't bid yet...was out-bid at $155 so far...waiting for a better opportunity...
