just heard on the local news that a new track was approved tonight in cook co. ga. its just off of I-75 about 20 miles north of valdosta. wooo hooo only 30 miles from me!!------------------

If Georgia is like Kentucky, a new track is any road that is straight for 1/2 mile and paved  I got a new test track out in front of our addition, its called a new 4-lane.Mike

I would like to get one over here next to Daytona International Speedway. They have plenty of land nad tons on money. I mean come on, we have almost every kind of professional racing over here, why not get a drag strip as well.It would only be 10min from my house then bwahahaha!  ------------------

yea there is plenty of room on the infield to put a strip. you dont happen to know a guy down there named danny wisham do you?------------------

cool. i wish i knew where Cook County was  . how far away is that from Fulton County?

dont you have a map?? or maybe www.mapquest.com get on I 75 south, go about 200 miles and look to your left and you will see it!!------------------

DUDE!!!!!!!!  !!! Cook county is 200 miles away from me! AHH! this state is too big...  i'm never going to get to that track. is it near Waleska or wherever that last show was?

Alanta Dragway opens up the season Saturday for an all day T&T with a few exhibition runs from a few jet cars. The weather forecast sux though. ------------------
