Hey All,

I had a fun day hanging out with Glen, SteveW and his daughter Melissa. Steve & Glen gave me a ton of good pointers!! Those two can also cut some pretty good lights.

I was also able to take some videos. The links are below. Oh, and the files are 1.4mb or less.

Here's Glen with his burnout.

Here's Glen with his 2nd trial run of the day. This is right after some ricer blew his radiator and spilled coolant all over the starting line.

Here's his 3rd run.

Here's Melissa

Here's her 2nd run of the day

And her 3rd.

I was about 3-4 cars behind her on one of those runs. Its amazing seeing the front end lift up. I had a good time talking to Steve, Glen, and Eric, really nice people. Thanks Steve for the pointers on my time slip. My best for the day was 16.9 with a 79.29 trap. Hope to see you guys again soon.

It was good meeting you too dude. Did your times improve when you shifted at 4500? Or did the engine stop making power?

When I went to sears point on Jan. 1st I was pulling 17's and 18's when shifting at 4500rpms. The engine would stop pulling after 4000rpms. I thought the tachometer I put in was pulling current from the coil therefore robbing power. I just put on headers, exhaust, new plugs, wires, coil, open air element, and deleted smog. My car was hardly driven before that point. After Jan. 1st I drove the car every other day. I was surprised it was pulling at 4500rpms. Hopefully with some tuning I can get into mid 16's.
