Sorry I tried the search engine and came up with nothing. I am looking at purchasing tires and rims for the back of my mustang. what is the largest tire you can fit under the fender and what rim did you use. Thanks for your time. Its a stock bodied mustang.

i have 275-60-15 on back of my 69, but the backspace is off,3\3\4, think you need at least 4 to 4.50 backspace, mine hit the fender lip on bumps, might go with lower tire instead of buying new custom rims, torque thrusts 11's.

On my dad's 69 Mach 1, he has 15x10 welds with 5.5" backspacing. He also has 28x 10.5 x15 Hoosier slicks. If you run a sway bar, you will have to remove. If you run traction bars, you will have to grind them down. And you will have to clearance the inner wheel well. He runs slide-a-links and they clear fine. They fit inside and look great. Hope this helps.
