If I change my standard 3 speed for a c-4 should I change the pinion angle?

It depends on the primary use of the car. 5-7 degrees with a leaf spring car with no traction bars. I believe it's 2-4 with traction bars. Do a search here in the forums and use the keywords "pinion angle". I believe you'll find a thread that contains different pinion angles for different applications (ex: race, street, etc.)

See where it's at after the swap first.
