He runs a tubbed, lexan glassed BBC (454)Camaro and unless he sprays it Missy's '66 is usually faster. Well today he was running 10.90's and Melissa cranked out a 10.68. He asked what we've done different and I was honest, I told him we dropped the Flowmaster 3" exhaust and backed off the timing. What did he do?!?! Dropped his 3" flows and picked up 5 mph and ran a 10.53. I'm just too nice sometimes. SteveW

Your point was proven to me a couple years ago, now Steve Marshall is a believer too! Steve's no dummy either, but he really didn't think it would help that much! He couldn't believe that was all we did, but he sure does now. He's a rival of our engine builder. They are always ribbing each other over the two cars. Dam'ed now we need another 20 h.p... Maybe we'll have to port the stock Vic Jrs, and up the camshaft. I bought a pair of Borla Sportsman's for the Dart.... Remember that for our Wednesday night racing we HAVE to run Muffs. SteveW

Well Mike, with your Super Bowl winnings you have a start towards the purchase of some real headers. Otherwise, cut the "X" pipe about 18 back of the "X" for now.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Those flowmaster weigh a bunch too, that would help even without the restriction issue.
