I guess I've been lucky so far. Both times I have "won" something from Ebay, I have gotten exactly what it said it was, and very quickly. This time, I "won" 2 new solid flat tappet Lunati camshafts. $50 each. They showed up today and are exactly as described. They are older grinds, but I have used one of them before and it worked real good. I figure, I want to use one of them in my street car, I just havent decided which one yet. BTW, the 2 cams I got are: the one I have used before, 237/247 @ .050, .550/.559 lift the other is, 241/251 @ .050, .520/.520 lift.

I have very rarely not gotten what I won on eBay or the description was so totally wrong and misleading. Like you, I may have been lucky.I just wish some would take better pictures and more pictures via email if asked for them and others not use the 'stolen' pics from the companies website. I rarely ever bid on parts using the company website pics. Maybe they are afraid to send me a bad part since my eBay name is Senile069?...hehehe... ------------------ Larry No fast Fords at this time but one fine cruising 96 F350 CC DRW Power Strokin diesel. I've had good luck too. Only one time did I have to make a guy give me my money back when he sold me a wrong bracket and he didn't believe it was wrong until I had to 'pursuade' him a bit.Out of about 100 transactions so far, that's only a 1% bozo rate. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com

Hey KidVishus, I bought one of those Lunati 41107 cams too. How did you like your previous one? What was the basic setup you had, heads gears, carb, etc. Mine came in 5 days from mailing payment, and was in perfect shape.

I've also had good luck. I've bought over 30 items and they were all as advertised! I got some really good deals on car/truck/motorcycle parts. Ebay rules!------------------

I liked it alot. It was a open chambered 4v motor, torker intake, closed chamber domed pisotns, 4.11 gear, I was using an old 850 dp on it that was obviously too big. That motor had lots of things that should have been done differently, but since it was the first motor I had ever built, it was a learning experiance. The motor should have ran better than it did, but I just didn't know any better at that time. I have since gone faster with less motor, so I am looking forward to using that grind again and seeing what I can do with it now. I figure that is the one I will use in the next "street" motor for my '70 (which by the wat still has the 4.11 gear in it).

I too have bought lots of stuff on e-bay. I have run into a few snags along the way. One was a guy sold me a set of rebuilt heads from a '90 stang, but they were E5 heads when I got them. I wound up eating the return shipping but got the rest of my money back. The bad thing is they were in really nice shape otherwise. Right after that I got a set of brand spanking new E7 heads for around $250. Then I bought 1.7 rollers that were supposed to be for a SBF but they were for a BBF. That guy was super nice and great to work with. Otherwise half my motor is from e-bay and all has gone well so far. My AOD is from e-bay too. I would have spent so much more money if I had to buy this stuff new (cheapest Reman AOD was $800 locally, I got mine for $265). Plus, buying at a swap meet sucks, you never know what your going to get. I've even had great luck selling. I always get paid and get way more than if I tried to sell stuff locally. I got $90 for my 1.6 roller tips. That paid almost 1/2 for my new 1.7 full rollers (and was more than I paid for them). Can't beat that with a stick!
So far so good! B-loose
