It's the VR Spider. It may be spelled VR SPYDER. Do you have one?I believe it was put out by B&A Performance, the same folks who made the Street/Track Boss intakes for installing 351C heads on 302/351W's.
It came out right before Edelbrock came out with the Victor Jr. They were popular for a short while... then the Victor Jr. came out, and it faded away.
They are freakin' huge! I remember seeing one at the Columbus Super Swap years ago when it first came out. They were popular among class racers, when the next closest comptitor was the Offy Port-O-Sonic... which I kind of like. I got to see one of those at the last Columbus swap meet, and with some blending between the carb base and plenum, it could be a really nice piece! It's a very similar design to the Vic. Jr, just a bit smaller.
I'm surprised you hadn't heard of the VR Spider.
