I'm not 100% that's what the casting says as it was pretty poor, but has anyone ever heard of it? It looks a lot like a Edelbrock Super Victor for a 289-302.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." It's the VR Spider. It may be spelled VR SPYDER. Do you have one?I believe it was put out by B&A Performance, the same folks who made the Street/Track Boss intakes for installing 351C heads on 302/351W's. It came out right before Edelbrock came out with the Victor Jr. They were popular for a short while... then the Victor Jr. came out, and it faded away. They are freakin' huge! I remember seeing one at the Columbus Super Swap years ago when it first came out. They were popular among class racers, when the next closest comptitor was the Offy Port-O-Sonic... which I kind of like. I got to see one of those at the last Columbus swap meet, and with some blending between the carb base and plenum, it could be a really nice piece! It's a very similar design to the Vic. Jr, just a bit smaller. I'm surprised you hadn't heard of the VR Spider. You are correct Mike. I thought it could have said Spyder, but as I said the casting is so poor that it oculd almost be anything. I had a track boss for a 289/302 Mike and it had B/A all over it. This one does not say anything but VR Spyder. It does look similar, but bigger yet. It's new and they guy wants $300 for it. I'm not interested at that price as the runner direction and lengths are all wrong.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
