The thing we don't know is if testing is done at legal weight and fuel and other specs. It is an impressive ET, but I don't get excited until they do it in competition. Now that's impressive.------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 351C 4V

And they will still be 2 tenths slower than the IHRA mountain motor cars. The big motor cars are dominated by Fords. The GMs can't hang with the shotgun headed motors. Kaase rules! Did anyboy else notice that the IHRA made some top fuel rules changes? No more overdrive limit and 75 pounds off the weight minimum. That ought to let em run 4.50s with the NHRA boys now. ------------------ 63 Falcon 377 Cleveland stroker Flying Toilet alchohol injection. 6.19 @ 110 MPH 1/8 mile 2002 Ranger FX4 daily driver 2000 F350 PSD Crew cab dually - Like commuting in a B52!! 98 US Cargo Phantom II 28'

That was a IHRA Bill Bader decision based on self preservation DV. IHRA will also be going to 16 car TF fields so they can attract more of the NHRA regulars.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." That's still a good thing. I say, give Clay Millican the same tune-up all the time and he's gonna win an NHRA race. I'd love to see that. Speaking of self preservation, is there going to be a nitro Harley class this year? Since Screaming Eagle bolted, will they still race under another sponsorship, or not race in IHRA? I saw that Screaming Eagle is doing a limited number of NHRA races this year. Those are highly entertaining. Can IHRA afford to lose them?
