I made me a fuel cap gasket out of an old rubber mousepad like Steve said and it fits tight and works great!! No fuel comes out the back when I launch hard. I heard a rush of air as I took it off to put gas in it the other day. Is it supposed to be vented or something? It's never made that sound before. Use caution when opening a fuel tank with pressure or vacuum in it. The rush of air can cause fuel to come out. I have had this happen to me and I got covered with gas. It has happened to other people and caught fire. You should have a vented cap. You can drill a very small hole in it to vent pressure and vacuum, without spilling fuel.------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 351C 4V

Cool,Glad you like it! Check your cap for a vent, maybe it's clogged? SteveW
